About us

The DC (Dyer Coriat) Group is a Peruvian family-owned economic group that has been in business for over forty years. The Group’s founders, Samuel Dyer Ampudia and Rosa Coriat Valera, have imbued its culture with their entrepreneurial spirit and dynamic character, as well as their commitment to society, the environment, and Peru’s development. These defining traits can be found in each of the companies that comprise the Group, as well as the family’s legacy as a whole.

The Group’s strength is rooted in its professionalism and best practices in corporate governance. It promotes the constant diversification, internationalization, and growth of its businesses, with a focus on efficiency and innovation, seeking out opportunities that create sustainable value and wellbeing for all its stakeholders.

The Group is governed by the Board of Directors, which consists of family members and independent directors tasked with safeguarding its growth, sustainability, and good governance.

Nuestra Historia

El Grupo DC fue fundado por Samuel Dyer Ampudia, nacido en Huánuco en 1953, y su esposa, Rosa Coriat Valera, nacida en Pucallpa en 1952. Ambos emprendedores innatos, participaron desde niños en los negocios familiares vinculados a transportes, abarrotes, ferretería y restaurantes. Luego de independizarse de sus padres y mudarse a Lima, iniciaron su propio camino en el éxito empresarial y en la formación de sus cinco hijos.

Así, en la década de los 80, Samuel Dyer Ampudia, junto con su esposa y su hermano Luis Dyer fundan Galvanizadora Peruana S.A. en Pucallpa, empresa industrial de galvanización de láminas de acero para uso principalmente de techos (calaminas). En paralelo -y también de la mano con su esposa- los negocios llevaron al Grupo al norte en busca de un proyecto ambicioso en Bayóvar, Piura. Así, la pareja funda Corporación Pesquera Inca (COPEINCA) en 1994.

COPEINCA escribió un capítulo de éxito en la historia de las empresas productoras de harina y aceite de pescado del Perú. Se convirtió en poco tiempo en una de las más ambiciosas e innovadoras en su rubro y la tercera más importante en el mundo, con exportaciones a China, Japón, Alemania, Estados Unidos, entre otros. Fue vendida en la Bolsa de Oslo (Noruega) en el 2013, en una operación que superó los US$900 millones de dólares.

En 2007, el Grupo adquiere Camposol, una de las principales empresas agroindustriales del Perú, con el sueño de convertir los desiertos de La Libertad en un gran mar verde. Gracias a la visión estratégica del Grupo, hoy Camposol cuenta con operaciones en más de siete países, oficinas comerciales en tres continentes, relaciones de confianza con los principales supermercados del mundo y clientes en más de 40 países.

En el año 2012, el Grupo funda Refinca, un proyecto empresarial ambicioso que busca convertir la situación crítica de la deforestación en una gran oportunidad de desarrollo y de cuidado del medio ambiente. El reto de Refinca consiste en recuperar, en una alianza público-privada, más de 50 mil hectáreas deforestadas, fomentando el emprendimiento agrícola local, en todas sus escalas, con un financiamiento multilateral, especialmente para los pequeños agricultores. A la fecha, ya se han sembrado 2,500 hectáreas netas experimentales y, para acelerar sembríos, se espera un marco jurídico que promueva las inversiones de emprendimientos forestales en la Amazonía y la sierra del Perú a largo plazo

Hoy el Grupo está conformado, además de Camposol y Refinca, por Marinasol, empresa líder en el sector acuícola de langostino; Ecopacking, con foco en soluciones de empaques sostenibles para la agroindustria; Grupo Inmobiliario DC, orientado al desarrollo de viviendas sociales, así como a la creación de valor del “land bank” y activos de renta patrimonial del Grupo; Servicredit, una cooperativa que busca la inclusión financiera en el país; así como DC Capital, una empresa creada recientemente para gestionar fondos constituidos por aportes de la familia y de otros inversionistas privados. Todas estas empresas se gestionan bajo modelos sostenibles que buscan el bienestar y el progreso para todos los involucrados y se rigen bajo las mejores prácticas de gobierno corporativo que aseguran la transparencia y profesionalización de todas las actividades del Grupo.
